I want to be involved in making films. What are my options?

I love movies and can't imagine a job that didn't involve this passion. However, I know very little about my options. What are possible careers? What should I major in because I hear there are different film majors depending on what you want to do. How does someone become a director, producer, editor, music coordinator, casting director, screenwriter, etc. What other options are there?
