Exersise to losse weight?

Was wanting to lose weight and was wondering what exersise should I do and how much a day to lose weight? And how can I motivate myself?? And when is the best time to exersise early in the morning or afternoon?? I was thinking morning because it's out of the way for the day but I am not very motivated to get out of bed any tips??
