Question about Boating?

I've lived on a boat with my stepdad Earl for 3 years now and haven't been on land in quite sometime. We've been drifting around from port to port ever since and I was just wondering will i get land sick once I step back on land because I'm afraid I'm going to throw up once onland at my welcome home party. I really hope not. Any one know if this can happen?
